CP Games joined the industry in Dakar for SBWA+ Summit 2026, celebrating two award shortlists and our continued commitment to Africa’s gaming community.
CP Games was pleased to participate in the 11th annual Sports Betting West Africa+ (SBWA+) Summit, held from 14–16 October 2026 at King Fahd Palace Hôtel in Dakar, Senegal.
Organised by Eventus International alongside Gaming Event Francophone Africa (GEFA), the gathering brought together gaming professionals from across West and Francophone Africa and beyond.
SBWA+ provided a valuable setting for face-to-face exchanges and a closer look at the opportunities shaping the region’s gaming industry.
For CP Games, participating in regional events is an opportunity to listen, learn and better understand the markets we serve. Each market has its own player preferences, cultural influences and business requirements, making local knowledge an essential part of building relevant gaming experiences.
Our presence in Dakar reflected our commitment to maintaining these connections and supporting long-term collaboration across Africa.
This year’s SBWA+ Eventus Awards also gave us two reasons to be proud:
We were honoured to be recognised alongside fellow industry professionals and organisations. These shortlists were an encouraging milestone for both CP Games and we extend our warm congratulations to this year’s winners.
We also thank the organisers and everyone who supported our nominations.
Annalisa Samuels, VP Africa at CP Games, joined the panel “The Next Five Years: Strategic Outlook from Africa’s Betting Leaders,” bringing CP Games’ perspective to a forward-looking conversation about the region’s gaming industry.
The session offered an opportunity to consider the opportunities and challenges facing African gaming businesses over the next five years, and what sustainable growth could look like across the region’s diverse markets. For CP Games, this outlook reinforces the importance of understanding local player preferences, developing culturally relevant content and building strong regional partnerships. Annalisa’s participation reflected our commitment to supporting long-term development and staying connected with Africa’s evolving gaming community.
As we look ahead, CP Games remains committed to developing locally inspired gaming content and building lasting relationships across Africa. We look forward to continuing the conversations from Dakar and exploring future opportunities with the region’s gaming community.
